As the Church we are called to serve. Whether it's in our facility or outside in the community, your gifts were given to build the Kingdom. If you've been attending Happy Home Church and thinking to yourself, "What do I do now?," it's your time to sign up to serve!
Volunteer FAQ
How do I volunteer?
EASY! At the bottom of this page you will find a form. Fill it out and be sure to check all the areas you are interested in volunteering in! We will get back with you shortly.
What happens after I sign-up?
After you sign-up, a leader from the specific area you chose will contact you and find out the specifics of how you would like to serve. They will like to meet with you at least once to get to know you and make sure they place you within an area of serving where you will be successful. Finally, they will put you through a series of training and hands on experience to prepare you for the area in which you will serve.
If I sign-up for an area, do I automatically become a volunteer within that area?
By signing-up, you are showing interest. It does not mean that you will automatically become a volunteer in that area, because we want to make sure you are serving in an area that fits best with your gifting. But no matter what, we will make sure you find a place to serve that meets your passions and gifting.
What is required of me to work with kids and students?
Anyone who is interested in working with kids and students must be background checked before being approved to be a volunteer in those areas. Once your background check comes back clear, then you will go through training to ensure that we can provide an environment of safety for our kids and students.
